Invisible Architecture Installation
Installation: ‘Becoming-Siren’, digital audio, stereo, 11’51”; two loudspeakers; tube lamp; poetic text; 2014. Work by Chrs Galarreta (composition) and Janneke van der Putten (voice).
Installation that spatialises the poetic text and music of LP publication ‘Invisible Architecture I’. In this sound research the acoustic properties of a lighthouse on the Vassivière Island (2013) are explored. The resonance of the sounds are reinforced, and create immersive acoustic effects.

Presented at All Begins With A, TENT, Rotterdam, 2015. The poetic text was published as part of the LP ‘Invisible Architecture I’ in July 2014, contextualising Chrs Galarreta’s and Janneke van der Putten’s work in the light tower of the Centre international d’art et du paysage, Île de Vassivière, 2013.
